The ladies Bible class meets in the preacher's home in the winter and in the meeting house (church building) during the summer. We meet at 10:00 am til 11:00 a.m. each Thursday unless cancelled because of inclement weather or other things that may occur.
The class began back in the late 1960's and has continued for the past 50 years. Through it, many ladies have come to know the truth and been converted to Christ.
See The Church of Christ in Lancaster site for more information.

Our ladies class uses the Bible for the Bible study, making it easy to pick up where we left off the week before. For simplicity, there are no workbooks or work sheets or strict study guides. We read a chapter each Thursday and discuss it, to draw out the message and meaning. We close with a prayer and all prayer requests are honored.
A lunch is provided, which gives everyone a time of fellowship.
I try to give rural ladies of the church a time of luxury and rest by inviting them to the warmth of my home to have a discussion of the scriptures. I sometimes use colorful Bible flannelgraph illustrations to make the lesson come alive. We try to stay on the subject and keep the conversation holy and edifying, building one another up. We want to read the truth and to believe it and to live it. Our goal is to learn what God's Word says and to help each other to live it.
Having a ladies Bible class gives some women a time to be still and read the Bible without distraction. Also, some people need the fellowship of other Christian women to help reinforce their marriages, home life, child-raising and role as women at home and church. Others come to help support the Ladies Bible class with their insight and their encouragement.
Visitors are welcome. Please email ladylydiaspeaks@comcast.net if you want to come and need directions, or phone 541-998-1944.

Skype visitors across the country and overseas are also invited. We try to have one Skype visitor every Thursday to acquaint ourselves with other ladies around the world and to enjoy their insight into the things we are reading.
The next chapter we will be reading is First Timothy chapter 5, pasted below. It should cause some very stimulating and interesting comments In class! Please take some time to read it and to think about what conversation in class it might inspire.
You are welcome to leave comments and ask questions.
